Between 2001 and 2015, Brest artist Vladimir Nikolaevich Gubenko created around 300 drawings in pencil on A4 paper. The content and subjects are drawn from the author’s own childhood and youth memories, as well as those of his friends. The works depict with photographic precision the events that took place in Brest during the 1940s and 1950s.
